As fun and convenient it can be to sit at your laptop and wait for package to arrive, sometimes you want to have the shopping experience with more than just your sight. To feel the material under your fingertips. To physically put on that certain dress, hat or statement necklace you’ve been coveting to confirm that you’re not just in love with the idea of it, but that it also complements your style. Or to have that sudden rush of excitement as discover a piece in the store you couldn’t believe you hadn’t noticed before.
With that in mind, the team at The Designers Studio are super excited to announce that our first brick-and-mortar store is here! We heard your feedback and to compliment our online store, you can now come and relish the hands-on experience of African fashion design in person. And just in time for Valentine’s Day too (we got you covered last minute shoppers).
Located on the ground floor of the new Two Rivers Mall, we’ve opened our swanky doors, and we’d love for you to come and experience the creativity from the likes of Adele Dejak, Nawalika, Le Collane di Betta, Canvas and Kangas, Akinyi Odongo, Deepa Dosaja, Urban Artefacts, Penny Winters, Njema Helena, Ikojn, Kooroo and Drop of a hat; just to mention a few. Just like on our blog, the store aims to make the designers the focus. Using creative design display, our hope is that you will leave feeling like you had a one-on-one with the designer themselves. And with a goodie-bag filled with all the designers you love and those you’ll meet and fall in love with at first sight.
