Watch In Vogue: The Editor's Eye Trailer | Vogue Video | CNE |

Now, more apt than ever, during our photography series, we thought it best to share it now. Why we think this documentary is a good one to watch, especially for those in the industry, is simply because it highlights the role and work of Fashion Editors at Vogue US both past and present. It also takes us, the viewer, behind the scenes of some of the most iconic images in fashion as conceived by them and shows us the process behind one stunning image.

“The people who are responsible for the fashion images are the fashion editors,” says Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue. “They have always been our secret weapon, so it seemed to me that we could celebrate Vogue, and also, at the same time, celebrate these great editors.” Fashion Editors are the link between the photographers/technicians and the business end.

We believe that aspiring photographers and generally anyone in the fashion industry should watch this and admire the commitment, tenacity and thinking process behind an image. The film also gives an insight into the journey through various periods in fashion and how the pages of Vogue and resulting photographers have been reflections of society.
