‘The Next Black’ is a documentary film that explores the future of clothing. Watch as we meet with some of the most innovative companies on the planet to get their opinion on clothing and its future, including: heroes of sustainability, Patagonia; tech-clothing giants, Studio XO; sportswear icon, adidas; and Biocouture, a consultancy exploring living organisms to grow clothing and accessories.

Meet Nancy Tilbury, designer and co-founder of Studio XO, a company that specializes in the area where fashion meets technology. Studio XO is focused on the emotion of technology in the integration into fashion and clothing.

Meet Matt Hymers, who in his role at Adidas explains merger of technology and fabrics as key to sports clothing innovation.

Suzanne Lee, director of Biocouture, a consultancy exploring living organisms to grow clothing and accessories. Fashion Designer Suzanne Lee directs the BioCouture research project, which sprang from an idea in her book Fashioning the Future: Tomorrow’s Wardrobe, a seminal text on fashion and future technologies.
